Bike Fest returns for fourth year
On Saturday 6 July, the 4th annual Shafton Bike Fest will take place. The event which will run from 12 pm to 3 pm, is a charity motorcycle show held by students at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Shafton and its charity committee to raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Barnsley Food Bank.

Winners of the Barnsley Young Champion Awards were announced at a celebration evening at the Metrodome Arena on Friday, June 14. The Barnsley Chronicle teamed up with Barnsley College for the biggest-ever search for its town’s inspiring young people. There were 15 awards in all, with one being awarded to students at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Shafton.
