An impressive 26% of Outwood Family Year 13 students achieved an A* or A grade, while 77% of students achieved an A* to C grade.

Students who will be starting at ���ϳԹ��� Hemsworth have been spending time at the school this week, ahead of entering Year 7 in September. The week-long summer school ran from Monday 1st to Friday 5th August and it is the second year the activity has been delivered.

���ϳԹ��� Shafton have been awarded the prestigious Association for Physical Education (afPE) Quality Mark with Distinction, for demonstrating outstanding commitment to improvement in Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity.

On Friday 15th July, Outwood Primary Academy Alne held a special community day to remember and celebrate the life of their governor and school disco DJ, Dennis Myers.

Following an Ofsted inspection on 10th and 11th May, there has been “no change to this school's overall judgement of outstanding”.
