ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø City welcomes new principal

A Sheffield secondary academy has started the new school year with a new principal appointment.

Emily Rosaman has been named as the new school principal for the Stradbroke Road-based ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø City, taking over from Godsway Dzoboku, who held the position temporarily.

Ms Rosaman, who previously served as Vice Principal at The Dukeries Academy in Nottinghamshire, said of her appointment:

“I am absolutely delighted and privileged to take on the role of Principal at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø City. I felt immediately that it was a really special place and I am excited for all that we can achieve together.â€

Ms Rosaman qualified as a teacher in 2011, gaining her bachelor's degree in English Literature; her Masters of Philosophy in Cultural Inquiry and her postgraduate diploma in secondary education from the University of Birmingham.

Phil Smith, Regional Executive Principal, added:

“We are overjoyed to have successfully appointed the right person for this important role. Ms Rosaman possesses the standards, aspirations and high expectations needed to lead ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø City and secure the outcomes students need - not only academically but holistically, empowering them for the brightest of futures.â€
