Wellbeing Week For ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø City Year 11

Year 11 students at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø City have been treated to a wellbeing week to help them with their mental wellbeing during their mock exams.

The students were given the choice of sessions they could attend, all aimed at helping students relax and take their minds away from any stress, anxiety or pressure they may be feeling.

The range of activities available to the students was vast, from yoga to facials and knit and natter to a music masterclass.

James Colliver, Associate Assistant Principal at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø City and the man behind the wellbeing week, said: “This was all about showing the students we are here for them, that we want to help, and they have our full support. It is the Outwood Students First vision in practice.

“I was happy that the students embraced the wellbeing week and attended the events in good numbers. I also would like to thank the staff, because without their hard work the wellbeing week could not have been a success.â€

The full list of activities available to the year 11 students was: Yoga; Knit and Natter; Pampering Facials; Confidence Building; Stress Ball Making; Colour For Mindfulness; Board Games; Music Masterclass and a Health and Wellbeing twilight fitness session.
